Welcome to the Joey Club
The kids’ conservation community from Queensland Koala Crusaders — created to inspire the next generation of wildlife protectors.
The Joey Club is a place where young wildlife heroes don’t just learn about koalas — they take action to protect them. At a time when koalas face habitat loss, climate pressures, and increasing threats in the wild, it’s never been more important to empower kids with the knowledge, confidence, and tools to make a difference. When children feel connected to nature, they grow into adults who protect it.
As a Joey, your child will receive a digital welcome pack, a personalised certificate, and monthly Koala Quest — hands-on, real-world conservation challenges like identifying habitat trees, creating safe wildlife spaces, supporting rescue efforts, and learning how everyday choices can protect native species. These missions are designed to be practical, positive, and achievable, helping kids see that their actions truly matter.
Along the way, Joeys build environmental knowledge, leadership skills, resilience, and pride. They learn that conservation isn’t just something adults do — it’s something they can be part of right now.
Because every Joey can help save koalas — and every small action adds up to real impact.
Join us at the beginning of something powerful — where kids lead the way in protecting koalas and the wild places they call home.
To make sure every Joey gets the most out of the experience, Joey Club has two membership tiers designed for different age groups. Our Pouch Joeys (ages 3 - 6) receive fun, simple, and creative missions that build confidence and connection to nature, while our Back Rider Joeys (ages 7 –12) receive more advanced challenges and deeper learning activities that encourage leadership and real conservation action. This way, every child gets missions and activities that suit their age, interests, and growing wildlife hero skills.
